At Hemby, we refer to our helpers as daily assistants and care aides, who, with empathy and dedication, take care of our customers while performing a variety of tasks.
The most important criterion to become a helper is a genuine care for the well-being of our clients. Friendliness, reliability, and a passion for working with older and vulnerable individuals are essential qualities we value.
At the start of the visit, we always ask about the general well-being of the senior, how they have been feeling in the past few days, and discuss what tasks or activities are planned for the day.
We start together with various tasks, such as changing the bed linens, unloading the dishwasher, and going shopping. During this, we ensure social interaction and as much physical activity for the seniors as possible.
Once we are back from shopping, we warm up a meal and play a round of cards.
Usually, everyday household tasks can be completed during a visit. Our goal is to relieve family members as much as possible, so they can spend more time with their loved ones without the burden of additional household chores.
We have a large team of helpers, each bringing unique experiences and qualifications. This is our strength, as it allows us to ensure the best possible care.
No matter what challenges or needs you may have, we have the right helpers to assist you in a personalized and empathetic way.
