At the beginning of each visit, we always ask about the general well-being of the senior, how the past few days have been, and discuss the tasks or activities planned for the day.
We then begin with various tasks such as changing the bed linens, emptying the dishwasher, or going grocery shopping. During these activities, we ensure there is both entertainment and as much movement as possible for the seniors.
Once we return from shopping, we heat up a meal and enjoy a round of bridge.
Usually, everyday household tasks can be completed during a visit. Our goal is to relieve family members as much as possible, so they can spend more time with their loved ones without worrying about additional, tedious household chores.
